Chateoux

Getting started

1. First five minutes

  1. Sign in at chateoux.ai/login — a magic link, no password.
  2. Create your household and invite your partner (they get full access the moment they sign in with that email).
  3. Go to Add something and feed it the last school newsletter — upload the PDF or just paste the email text.
  4. Watch Review: within about a minute you’ll see everything it read, with the source beside each value. Confirm anything it flagged.
  5. Confirmed and high-confidence items are now on your calendar of record.

2. Your household email address

Settings shows your private forwarding address (like foster-3a1@chateoux.ai). Forward any school or activity email there and it flows through the same pipeline — set up a Gmail filter to auto-forward the school’s domain and the noticing becomes automatic. (If forwarding isn’t live on your account yet, in-app capture does the same job.)

3. See it everywhere

  • Google Calendar: Settings → Connect Google Calendar. Confirmed events push automatically.
  • Apple Calendar: Settings → Create subscription URL, then File → New Calendar Subscription on Mac (or Settings → Calendar → Accounts → Add Subscribed Calendar on iPhone).
  • The kitchen: open chateoux.ai/kitchen on the tablet, then Settings → Generate pairing code on your phone. The tablet shows today + 48 hours in per-person lanes — no login on the device, revocable anytime.

4. When something looks wrong

Every calendar item shows why it exists — the source document and version. If a value is wrong, fix it in Review (your correction becomes the new, fully-trusted version) and tell us with the feedback button. A wrong time that reached your calendar is the bug we care about most: help@chateoux.ai goes straight to the founder.
